Are You a People Pleaser?

Single day of your life? If you are serious about enjoying life, then I have a tip for you: Stop trying to please everyone. First of all, you will never be able to make everyone happy. And secondly, most of the time, doing things that would please others would not please God. You cannot please God and please people. As I travel across this country, I am constantly amazed at how many people are driven to please the people around them—even if it makes them feel guilty. Th ese people would rather please others than please God. Th ey would rather please others and live with a guilty conscience than please God fi rst and have a clear conscience. Sound familiar? You may be a people pleaser!
