Born and raised in Bolton North Carolina, Tyree Hines began his music ministry early in life. Gospel music quickly became his favorite thing as he started singing in the church choir. As he poured himself into his music, guided by God, he eventually learned to play the drums. Today, he is a successful musician and singer with a mission; to help youth all over the world get a chance to experience the love, peace, and victory provided only by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Over the years, his passion for music and his love for people developed into a calling. He is currently in training to become a minister, works with youth during summer camp at his local church, and strives to live a righteous life.
Tyree realizes the importance of his relationship with God in his acknowledgement of God as the head of his life. He also recognizes the opportunities and gifts God has blessed him with. In 2008, Tyree and his family were in a serious car accident that almost cost him is life. Through that experience, he has learned to call God his protector.
In addition, Tyree acknowledges those people who have helped him become who he is today. He has been quoted to “give thanks to his church family, Pastor James H. Nixon, First Lady Nixon, and Straightway Ministries, and especially to his wife and family.”
